Lincolnshire Resilience Forum (LRF) are offering to train people who are willing to be called upon in a crisis for ancillary support and assistance e.g. communicating with people affected; driving supplies to affected areas; manning refuge centres if people have to leave their homes; helping with clean-up operations.
As it is voluntary, you do not have to commit a specific amount of hours, but it means that the emergency services can concentrate their efforts whilst help for those affected is done by these volunteers.
Community resilience is about neighbours helping neighbours and help in spreading this information is vital!
