Here’s the notification from LCC Highways regarding the upcoming road closure as you approach Temple Wood. Supplied map also below, which will open a larger map when clicked.

The dates for these works have been agreed with our contractors Balfour Beatty, and the relevant Road Closures + Diversion Routes have been booked.

Please find attached for your reference a copy of the Works Area Plan & Road Closure/Diversion Route Plans.

As the works are part of an annual countywide programme, these dates may be subject to slight changes due to elements outside our control such as adverse weather conditions, supply chain issues etc. If such circumstances, arise I will inform you and all other parties it may affect.

The working hours will be between 07:30 and 17:30, and once started the road closures / diversions will be in place for the duration of the works. Where possible ‘Access Only’ will be maintained to residents and service vehicles, however due to the nature of the works there may be times when this is not possible.

Advanced notification signage has be placed on all main approaches, 2 weeks prior to the start date, to inform the public of LCC’s proposed works and timescales.
